Can anyone help out. I need to know which is the better kit gor the GSR. We want boost fairly quick (around 2500 rpms). The bottom end is being fully built since the 75 zex slung a rod through the block. Its a fresh start and we want to do it right. So any help is appreciated.

I use the drag kit with T04E turbo. I like it alot, but it definitely won't start boosting at 2,500 rpms. If you want something that is going to start boosting that early you will need something smaller like a T3. The F-Max kit will be similar. My setup starts building boost about 3,200 and reaches full boost at 4,000. I really haven't found a need for boost any lower than that, (you can always downshift). You might even want to go the supercharger route because they start boosting much sooner than most turbos.

You need to set hp goals and what you are trying to achieve. If you are looking for boost at 2500 rpms your best bet if a staight t3 or a roots style supercharger, but on the flip side don't expect much more than 275 hp to the wheels. I think a good compromise if you like racing ever now and then is a t3/t4E it does lag a bit as stated above but you can make very descent power with it. Contrary to what some people think, you just because you have a jr supercharger, you do not have full boost 6 psi at 2000 rpms.. Matter of fact, i didn't have full boost til 2800-3000 w/ the blower. Either way boost came considerable faster than with the turbo. Like I said figure out what your goals are now and save yourself a boat load later.

Well the car is now on its way to PA. to be fully built and turbo'd. T3/4 is what will be thrown on it.
